I could not be more pleased my daughter and son-in-law chose Garvey Barn for their wedding reception, such a gorgeous venue! Guests complimented the property so geniunely and often and loved it. The owner, Bob, is about the kindest person to work with too! You can tell the level of detail and investment they have made in this property. Highly recommend! Thank you to the Garveys!

Bob was excellent to work with in every regard, the location is BEAUTIFUL, our guests all had a wonderful time enjoying the barn, the deck, the lawn, the horses, and the fire pit. The barn is a blank canvas, and it was fun transforming it into our unique vision. The fact that we could do (almost) whatever we wanted with the space is what sold us on this venue. Our wedding will truly not look like anyone else's, and that is special! (please enjoy just a few snapshots of our beautiful day 🥰😍) (And for those concerned about money, we went a little over budget and STILL paid less than any other venue we looked at 😏thrift stores and FB marketplace!!!) Our day wouldn't have been as perfect had we had our wedding anywhere else! We HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here!! 🥰

If you're looking for a barn venue for your wedding, look no further. You couldn't ask for a better location. The Barn: Stunning. The Views: Pure Michigan. The Weekend: Perfect. Bob is a pleasure to work with. He'll answer any questions you may have and offer up plenty of recommendations. He's there on your day to help, as well! If your not sold yet, let me just add one more thing. Unlike some venues, Bob never double books a weekend. You can set up Friday night, get married and party the night away on Saturday, and then break down Sunday morning. You will be required to have a coordinator, which I recommend anyway. Additional needs will be a caterer, tables & chairs rental, DJ, and sanitation services. Don't worry, though, Bob has plenty of recommendations for you (and so do I)!

If there was only one word we could chose for our Wedding experience, it is "Incredible". From the very beginning Mr. Garvey was gracious and accommodating in assisting with our venue selection, setup and breakdown. Very stress free experience. Having the quaint Bridal Cabin, stunning views for the outdoor ceremony and elegant historic barn for reception all in one spot made coordination of vendors a non issue. Everyone of our 80+ guests traveled from coast to coast across the country. Many who experienced their first visit to Northern Michigan couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the setting for our wedding was. Thank You Bob!

This venue is beyond gorgeous! The outdoor ceremony area has beautiful landscaping, an elegant arch, picturesque views of the barn and pastures and ample parking for guests. The owner is very wonderful to work with and truly cares about making your wedding day special. You won’t be disappointed with the Garvey Barn!
